PURE VET MEMBERSHIP PLAN – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 7th March 2026

These Terms & Conditions explain what is included in the Pure Vet Membership Plan, how the plan operates, and the responsibilities of both parties. By joining the Membership Plan, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the enrolled pet and that you agree to these Terms.

  1. About the Plan

The Pure Vet Membership Plan provides unlimited veterinary consultations during our routine daytime opening hours. This includes:

  • Clinical examinations
  • Follow‑up consultations
  • General health advice
  • Behavioural and lifestyle discussions
  • Nurse consultations

The plan also includes:

  • 20% discount on neutering and dental procedures
  • 50% discount on microchipping, nail clips, and anal gland expression

The plan does not include:

  • Diagnostics (blood tests, imaging, laboratory work)
  • Medications or prescription fees
  • Procedures or surgery
  • Out‑of‑hours or emergency consultations
  • Travel certificates or insurance forms
  • Specialist referrals
  • Any treatment costs

The plan is not insurance and does not replace the need for a comprehensive pet insurance policy.

  1. Eligibility
  • Pets must be registered with Pure Vet.
  • Membership is per pet and cannot be transferred.
  • Pets must remain under our ongoing clinical care.
  1. Your Responsibilities

To ensure your pet receives the full benefit of the plan, you agree to:

  • Follow veterinary and nursing advice
  • Attend routine health checks as recommended
  • Pay membership fees on time
  • Ensure your contact and payment details remain up to date.
  1. Payments
  • Membership fees are collected monthly by credit card subscription.
  • Missed or failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of the plan.
  • Prices are reviewed annually and may change with 30 days’ notice.
  • If a payment fails, we may attempt to collect it again automatically.
  1. Cancellation

This is a rolling 12‑month contract, renewed monthly.

You may cancel:

  • Within 14 days of joining (cooling‑off period)
  • At any time thereafter with 30 days’ notice

If you cancel and have used services exceeding the value of payments made, the difference is payable at our standard fees.

This ensures fairness and prevents misuse of discounted services.

  1. Fair Use

Unlimited consultations are offered for reasonable and clinically appropriate use. We may review or cancel membership if appointments are being booked excessively without a medical indication, or in a way that impacts access for other clients. This does not apply to pets with genuine ongoing medical needs.

This protects fair access for all members and ensures the sustainability of the service.

  1. Changes to the Plan

We may update plan pricing, inclusions, or terms.

We will always provide at least 30 days’ notice of any changes.

  1. Termination by Pure Vet

We may cancel the plan if:

  • Payments are repeatedly missed
  • Fair use is not practiced
  • There is a breakdown in trust or communication
  • The pet is no longer under our care
  • The plan is being misused or misrepresented

If we cancel the plan, we will explain the reason and provide notice where appropriate.

  1. Liability
  • The plan does not limit your statutory rights or our clinical obligations.
  • All treatment decisions remain at the discretion of the veterinary surgeon.
  • The plan does not guarantee immediate or same‑day appointments; availability may vary.
  • The plan does not replace pet insurance.
  1. Complaints

If you have concerns about the plan or our service, please raise them with us as soon as possible, ideally within 4 weeks.

If you remain dissatisfied after our internal process:

  • You may contact the Veterinary Client Mediation Service (VCMS)
  • If your concern relates to professional conduct, you may contact the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
  1. Data Protection

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website or on request.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
